Jerusalem UMC celebrates 100th homecoming

Jerusalem United Methodist Church will celebrate its 100th homecoming at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25. The congregation, which is 196 years old, is also celebrating its 100th year in its present church building, situated at 7347 Old Highway 6 in Santee. Speaker for the event will be the Rev. Joe Long, a former pastor of the church, and special music will be featured. The service will be followed by a covered-dish luncheon.
